Fi sabilillah. The phrase fi sabilillah ( فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّٰهِ, fī sabīli llāh) is an Arabic expression meaning "in the cause of Allah ", or more befittingly, "for the sake of Allah". [1] Alternative spellings for fi sabilillah include fisabilillah and fisabillillah.
